About A Gift of Heart
By the sharing of ideas and experiences, our group hopes to ease the difficulties and challenges of organ donation and transplant surgery. We offer support before, during, and after this difficult process.
A part of our mission strives to celebrate and honor the lives of donors and their families who have given their "Gift of Life" . This gift helps to save the lives of others in need.
We seek to bring comfort to one another through the discussion of shared insights and gain new understanding by hearing from those whose life stories differ from our own. We realize that very often laughter really is the best medicine.
We look to inspire those around us to make a difference in the lives of others through education about organ transplant. We promote public awareness by supporting events like the annual Donate Life Run/Walk held each year in April.
